Monday:
Goal: Today we will learn the definition of our new vocabulary words, and use our skill in context with our sleuth books.
1. Write the vocabulary words in your journal
2. Practice your new vocabulary by using Quizlet. (Learn the words first using the flashcards button. Then play scatter or space race.)
3. Storia--this is a new reading website, just play around on it and see how it works. You may not understand everything, but I want you to have time to look around in it before we use it as a whole class.
Tuesday:
Goal: Today we practice using our vocabulary words by identifying all of the word elements that gives it meaning.
1. Complete your vocabulary worksheet and journal entry. Turn both of these in.

Wednesday:
Goal: Toady we will practice our vocabulary words by using them in our own context.
1. Respond to the questions on the "The Man Who Named the Clouds" discussion
2. Just Right Book
Thursday:
Goal: Toady we will practice last week's skill (Fact and Opinion).
1. Complete the fact and opinion practice page (p.127) -- Turn into Reading Tray when complete.
2. Re-read "The Man Who Named the Clouds" and
3. Read Theory
Friday:
Goal: Today we will show mastery of our vocabulary words and the reading skill.
1. Reading Test
2. Write a letter to a Service man or Woman. These letters will be sent to troops serving overseas. Tell them what you do and what you like to do. Be encouraging and wish them a Merry Christmas!
